Hi, Joanna. We are so grateful to have you here to join us. What a lovely experience it must have been to have chanted with Ram Dass back then. Kirtan was something he loved to do. I used to go to his house for chanting, and he always had a look of peace on his face during it.

Hi there! I am Whitney, I live in Seattle area. I was lucky to hear about Ram Dass a little over a year ago, and my first experience with his work was reading Be Here Now. Iāve been involved by reading his other books, re-reading Be Here Now, and listening to the podcast intermittently. I consider myself very new to the practice/path. I am hopeful that I will gain a greater understanding of the white pages of the book and be able to apply those teachings to my daily life.
Kelly,
thanks for your message.
I am glad you reminded me of the peacefulness that chanting with Ram Dass brought.
It was a pleasant surprise to hear from you.
Hello everyone
I just joined today ( i actually donāt know how I missed the emails about this ad Iām subscriber long time now).
My name is Mailika and i am from Estonia, currently living in Dubai UAE.
I donāt remember exactly how i heard from Ram Dass first time, but it was a while ago 10 y for sure but then it wasnāt for me, when I was looking my way in spirituality and life.
But about 3y ago his name came up again, someone mentioned him on social media translating his lecture and quoting him.
And still i checked out and no Ram Dass was not my cup of tea.
Now year ago suddenly i fell into the space of total unconditional love of one yoga teacher, she quoted Ram Dass and i put on one of his lectures and this has changed my life.
Ram Dass for me is like this space of unconditional love now. I didnāt realize this until a week ago when I asked a person who helped me with some counselling (she is the one who quotes Ram Dass often) " I donāt know why each time i read your articles i cry and i feel itās ok to be me"
She said " itās because itās a space of unconditional love" then it hit me yes This is what Ram Dass does with his work even after he has left his body.
He is space where we feel itās ok, Iām ok the way i am without any judgement.
My intention for this course and life is to become truly free.
Thank you
Hi! Glad to join this course and the community board. Iām on the other side of the Atlantic moving between Rome and Cairo for now. Iāve been practicing for several years and Ram Dass teachings and being has always been inspirational but having to constantly move makes it difficult to have a sangha so I really appreciate this space.
Thank you, Kelly. I certainly will!
