📖 - Welcome to the Cookbook for a Sacred Life

Good Morning. My name is Melody Saxton. I live in the middle of Kansas. I have been following Ram Dass since 1970. I have read Be Here Now, although it has been more than a minute ago.
My hope it to regain peace.

Namaste :pray:t3: Ram Ram everyone :hibiscus::pray:t3: This travelers name is Anna (Enya) Brocein. Living in Round Rock Texas at the moment. Very excited to be joining this course! Having read “Be Here Now” by Ram Dass, listening to podcasts and reading the posts placed on Facebook by the wonderful community, this journey has been so deeply blessed. It feels as though this sadhana has been ongoing for many lifetimes, each step leading to the next. This feels like home for this traveler. Om Shanti to all and Ram Ram :hibiscus::pray:t3:

Hello, I am from Connecticut and i discovered Ram Dass in 2020 when he saved me through his podcasts from a very dark time in my life. Whenever i am feeling down or lost I turn on the podcast and always hear an important message from him at the right time. I hope to meet like-minded people and improve my qualities of awareness :om:

Thank you for joining this course DaniĂŤlle!

Have you happened to explore the Ram Dass Fellowship? Jackie, who is helping facilitate this course (and will be Live with you each Thursday of this course) helps run our fellowship program to help connect folks to satsang near them. If you visit Fellowship • Ram Dass and scroll down a little, you’ll see the “fellowship finder” map. I noticed there isn’t an official fellowship in the Netherlands yet, but maybe you could start one up? I know there are many Ram Dass lovers in the Netherlands, and it would be wonderful to help connect you all!

Louisa,
Thank you so much for joining this course! I’m curious, what other courses of ours have you taken? We have such an incredible collection in our Virtual Course Library!

I hope the experience of this course brings you closer to your intention.

Hi! My name is Sharon and I live in Far Northern California. I first hear of Ram Dass 40 years ago in my readings and initial explorations of Buddhist thought and nonwestern spiritual practices. I read Be Here Now many years ago, if I am thinking of the right text!, and am excited to engage again with this wisdom in community. Currently engaged in reinvigorating my meditation practice in many ways and this course is part of that intention. Thank you for having me.

Ooo yes, I loved that one as well!! Our Yogas of the Bhagavad Gita course was probably my personal favorite to date, but I’m excited to experience this 21 day course with this new virtual community!

Hi everyone, I’m Jim McGough from Two Rivers, Wisconsin. I first heard about Ram Dass when reading American Veda by Philip Goldberg. I have only recently started studying meditation for about six months now. That process began by reading Michael A. Singer’s books. Reference (“the untethered soul,” “the surrender experiment,” and “living untethered”). He encouraged reading the “Autobiography of a Yogi,” by Paramahansa Yogananda. So that furthered my study. I have not read Be Here Now, by Ram Dass, yet. I have a hard copy and have ‘paged’ through it but not ‘studied’ it. I’m looking forward to this group and course to begin that process.

I have a pretty good understanding of Ram Dass after reading Be Love Now. I want to continue my meditation routine/habit/and lifestyle; inspired by this book.

Forgive my affinity to free courses but I’m retired (not by choice). The universe was telling me it was time to experience a different direction. I’m taking advantage of these circumstances by being lazy when I can get away with it. My wife sleeps in late too most days so it’s easy to stay in bed when I should exercise mind and body. Anyway, one goal that I’d like to achieve by taking this 21 day course is to establish a meditation routine. One that serves to energize the body, reinforce peace of mind, and improve health. Above all, keeping God centered and revered inside of me.

Me too - on both counts.

Hi Tamika here from South Africa. What a pleasure and honour to be apart of this. I’ve followed Ram Dass for a few years now and love the light energy he brings to teachings. My intention for this 21 days is to absorb everything I need to help me prosper with ease. To gain greater support and aid in my healing. Boundless blessings to you all
